Matthew Matt James is a North Carolina native born on 5 December 1991. Matthew Matt James the mixed-race father of Manny James (of Jamaican descendance) along with Patty James. He has a Nigerian father and a Caucasian mom. James graduated in 2010 at Sanderson High School. In 2015, James earned an undergraduate degree in Economics from Wake Forest University. James became famous as a reality Star in The Bachelorette. In 2020, he was picked to be the season's 25th bachelor on The Bachelor, becoming the first African American lead. The season premiered in 2021. James was the ideal fit to play the role. He's tall and handsome, with an innate attitude. The season was over when he decided to choose Rachael Krkconnell as his choice to begin an affair with her. In 2021 he partnered with the famous dancer Arnold for season 30 of Dancing with the Stars.
